The Henderson Police Department has been no stranger to controversy and questionable governing “oversights”. That was, until LaTesha Watson relocated her family from Texas to Nevada to serve the Henderson community as the Chief Of Police. Using her decades of experience to uphold the integrity of the Henderson Police Department and it’s community, Chief Watson successfully implemented community policing programs, made transparency a priority and did not shy away from holding everyone accountable for their actions : people in the department. Because she would not walk the thin blue line in contrast with her job responsibilities, Chief LaTesha Watson was unfairly targeted and made subject to constant surveillance. She has been bullied and subjected to a hostile work environment because her leadership style is diplomatic as opposed to biased and discriminatory. Now Chief Watson has been placed on administrative leave and encouraged to resign so Henderson can return to the good ‘old boys status quo. We need your help!
