We need a flamingo statue to represent Ocala in a better way since people deem it as boring, let’s show that our small city is actually quite full of life !

You may ask but why a flamingo? as stated from Symbolism Wiki it says “Flamingos symbolize beauty, balance, and grace. Flamingos are also pink, which can be used to symbolize femininity and innocence, among other characteristics. Flamingos also tend to represent confidence.” Now isn’t that good? So why not sign my petition so see a beautiful animal in downtown :)! 

Pink used to be a manly color and it still is.This isn’t just a petition for flamingos, it’s for men, men get told to “suck it up” meaning their emotions, the thought of men being told this because they are just experiencing human emotion is awful, it is also awful that men get abused by their partner and are afraid to get help in fear of getting laughed at, if you are in a situation like this or know someone in a situation like this, you aren’t alone, and you can get help without being told “your a man and can defend yourself” stand up to toxic masculinity today! Stand up for men’s mental health! Take a stand for men in abusive environments!!!
