This is a change we want because there are skaters in kenton that have nowhere to go and everywhere we do go we get kicked out. We want a safe place to have fun and enjoy our hobby because our old skatepark was built in a very shady part of town which cause problems with illegal activities such as drugs, and fights. Us skaters feel left out cause the only thing we had as a skatepark was taken down because of stuff us newer generation skaters didn't do. A lot of the town feels like our taxes are not being put towards good use as we have anything you could want when it comes to school athletics but cant even have smooth roads or good sidewalks.(police literally tell us we cant skate on the road but we cant skate the sidewalks either)

I feel I have a good solutions for a place to make a skatepark. First solution is at our local park on Leighton street as there is a very big open space perfect to build a concrete foundation and a few ramps, a bank with a hubba and a manual pad. Another reason the Leighton street park would be a good spot to build it is because it is more populated and accessable which means less illegal activities. A skatepark is also a good place for older kids and adults to have fun at and maybe even host competitions.

Having a skatepark in our town kenton, ohio would mean the world to me, and other skaters, and  bikers, and and our taxes need to be but towards a place to have fun and bring people together
