So many times I have heard from a fellow citizen of Pell City that they desire a swimming pool to exercise in or to take their family to. My family personally has desired a public swimming pool for as long as I can remember. What are the benefits of having a public pool?

1. Low impact exercise for the elderly and morbidly obese.
2. Entertainment for Pell City's youth
3. Meeting spot for gym groups wanting to host classes. 
4. An increased attraction for prospective citizens.

How do we pay for it?

• City funding
• Entry fees
• Rentals for groups

Pell City has grown so much in recent years with the addition of a splash pad, movie theater, and etc. I think it is time to add a public swimming pool to all of that. Please sign my petition if you agree!
