I care about this because sometimes when I go to shelters the animals look so sad to be trapped in such a gray area, they are on these very uncomfortable beds, barely any toys, when they go outside there isn't any grass, dirty sticks everywhere, and it's just not a fun or happy place for them and you know that is you had to enter a place like that you would not be happy either. Also if we can raise enough money for shelters to upgrade they might have more space to fit in more cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or any past they've come from. Animals going through something where they have no homes are sometimes not be accepted in to their local shelter because they have no more space they will either leave you on your own or the animals there will be killed if not adopted quick enough. Most likely because the shelter has ran out of room just trying to fit all the other animals that need a place to stay especially because of the increase in animal cruelty case. So if we can get more space for animals and make the shelters a happier, cleaner, and more effective place we can really see a good change in the community.
