Skateboarding is starting to grow on staten island, and the only skate park we have is the ben soto park, which isnt even that great it consists of a few flat bars and rails there isnt a stair set, bank, pyramid, mini ramp, quarter pipe, and many more of the essentials for a skate park, as the community of skaters starts to grow on staten island, we have no choice but to skate on the streets, which most people arent very fond of, and isnt very safe. a skate park is a safe place for the youth to enjoy while still remaining safe, and keeping active.
