Dogfighting is a type of animal cruelty. The dogs most commonly used are pit bulls. They live in terrible conditions, they are bred and trained to hurt and sometimes kill each other. Sometimes participants will starve or whip the dogs to get them to behave.

Dogfighting is for the entertainment and/or profit of spectators. Dog fighting is very popular in the U.S.A and it happens in all 50 states. People pay a lot of money to watch dog fighting. And the money people pay to watch this monstrosity can add up to 500,000 dollars per fight.

According to The Humane Society, there are an estimated 40,000 people active in dog fighting in the United States.

We need your help, you can make a difference!
