I stronglybelieve that we as students should be given the opportunity to use our phones during our free time or lunch time at Evans High. Although I do understand that some students would try overuse this privilege and still sneak their phones in class, but that’s on them. Those students chooses to not follow the rules and overuse the privilege of using them in class should face the consequences on their and it should not be on the rest of us who does follow the rules. What they fail to realize is that some kids have a really hard making friends and as much as we hate to admit it, bullying is still around. By giving us back the privilege (which we won’t misuse or overuse) to have our phones at least during lunch, some of us would not be feeling so lonely at lunch. We’d have friends and family to communicate with. Sometimes our parents just want to hear from us sometimes. With everything going on we need to hear from them also. I know I have anxiety when something goes wrong and I can’t shoot a text to my mom or dad. Some of us have responsibilities that we need to take care of. Just give us the chance to be able to use our phones again and responsibly and we’ll be okay. The world is ending, we’re all going to die anyways. We might as well.
