Disable PubG Video Game in the UK

The Issue

PubG is widely played video game of people aged 18+ which is based on fighting on a battlefield. I have witnessed many underage children play this game (yes this is parenting issue). However; this game causes virtual addiction and procrastination. Upon looking around I have found people falling into this trap of fake sensed accomplishments when 'achieving' things. Procrastinations occur because people keep aside doing what is important and actually achieving real life goals in order to spend infinite time playing this dangerous game.

This game is unpaid and earns a lot of money from players who purchase weapons used for the game.

PubG is a violent game - players are forced to use weapons to kill eachother which enforces violent thoughts on players. It has been proven that people, especially children, who play violent video games are prone to having increased violent thoughts, emotions, behaviour and actions, therefore making this game a very bad one. This also means that players are less likely to be a helping hand to others due to the nature of what the game teaches.

Addicted players also exhibit social phobia which is something I have witnessed. This is because prolonged gaming makes players focus only on the game and since this game is addictive then players are only concentrating on the game and therefore may leave players socially isolated.

A 13 year old boy in China jumped off a building to his death to see if he could survive like characters in the PubG video game. This game leaves players with wrong robotic thoughts and therefore leads to death.

This country should be based on good safety of civilians and minimal terrorist thoughts which can lead to acts. If violent video games keep on circulating and our children and adults have access to them then we can never achieve these goals which put a threat on our security.

I am calling for consideration of a ban for such games. I am sure we do not want to mourn for our people like the family of the Chinese boy over a violent video game which can be stopped. Further more we do not need to witness socially isolated civilians nor do we want violent attacks on our streets due to these games.
