As we all might have noticed that MAKAUT( Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal) has modified the curriculum for B.Tech from 2018 and under this new curriculum they have introduced Biology and Environmental Science as two new subjects in the 4th Semester syllabus of Computer Science Engineering. We the people keen on technology and logic and mathematics oriented subjects, we find these two subjects less appealing to us and with the syllabus of these two subjects being and deep we shall be actually deviating from the core PCC subject (namely Design and Analysis of Algorithm, Discrete mathematics, Computer Architecture and Formal language and Automata theory) of CS. 

You see the doctors are not asked to read programming or CS related subjects in their curriculum , strictly because Biology and Computer Science are two different disciples and they do not go hand in hand. It is indeed getting stressful for we the CS students to cope up with them and many of the students didn't have Biology or EVS in their 10+2 level.

MAKAUT has always proved itself to be a student friendly institution, so we request to amend the syllabus a bit and include only subjects which are purely Computer Science centered and not which go a bit off stream , otherwise we the fellow MAKAUTians shall remain far behind the students of other institutions who in turn shall surpass us by giving their sole concentration on the core subjects and hence shall be more benefited.
