Mattel, bring back the original Monster Highs

The issue

Monster High was a doll line released in 2010 and which was incredibly popular, it’s no secret that Mattel struggled to keep up with demand when selling the dolls. As years went on, like any doll line, it started to fall as less people were purchasing them. It’s understandable that the Monster High dolls had stopped being produced because of this however, as of 2020 the demand for them has become high again.

A lot of people are desperately trying to get the dolls whether it be to play with, gift to children, create customs (OOAK), collect, and more.

The biggest down fall of monster high was the reboot. They look a lot more childish and seem to lack a lot of originality as they heavily look like barbie dolls, more specifically the clothing. Targeting 8-12 year olds has obviously not been successful especially when it has been tweens and ages up wanting the dolls back.

i’d like to end this on the question where is the competition? Bratz, Littlest Pet Shop, Moxie Girlz and a lot of other doll lines that were once popular have stopped selling. Australias shelves in the 3 major stores, Target, Big W and Kmart look incredibly boring containing the brands LOL, OMG, Barbie and Disney (Frozen). That 4 brands, not a lot of competition.

So, bring back the dolls that we, the main people who want to purchase the dolls, want.
