Hello Sir/Madam,

This petition on Change.org has gained enough momentum in a short period of time. At the time I am writing this message, there are about 4236 signatures and more than 150 comments. Last few days there were about 1 signature every minute which go on to show how much the residents in and around the mall are suffering due to Traffic issue. 

Meanwhile apart from this petition, residents in and around the mall has taken several actions on their own to express their discontent. 

-          Local Media was here in front of the mall on 25th Dec and they have aired the views of some angry residents on the Traffic situation.

-          News was widely shared in the Online media. There was a mention of this change.org petition also in some online media too. 

-          Traffic Police Leadership team has acknowledged this  issue on twitter and are trying to take steps to ease out the traffic in this area during the Year end.

-          Mall authorities deployed several Security personnel from their side to avoid jams near the mall entrance. 

-          Management committee of L & T Raintree Boulevard Apartment Owners Association (RTBAOA) called for a meeting with residents and has take note of our concern. Raintree Boulevard is the most impacted in this case having about 1500+ units.

-          MC of RTBAOA has assures that they will be meeting DCP North, joint commissioner BBMP and Shri Krishna Byre Gowda, MLA to take up this issue strongly.

-          MC of RTBAOA is in touch with other RWAs around the mall area to seek mutual support. 

-          There were several suggestions which has come up on how to mitigate the traffic situation. The same will be presented to the authorities. 

Our petition has served its purpose of creating awareness among general public and in bringing up this issue to the notice of authorities. More signatures will only show the number strength but nothing more.
