My client served 26 years in prison. He is remorseful for his past transgression. He was released on parole, he was out in society for a little over one year. There is no set templates in society that guarantee successful re-integration. He did not commit another crime. However, the help he finally was receiving was a bit too late, and he was remanded for a technical parole violation. Those that are incarcerated for long periods of time and within the horse stalls of segregation often need extra help with re-entry. Bady Rosado Diaz is one of these persons. He has sat for almost 14 months often referred to as “dead Time”. He will be seeing the Parole Board in December. Please support this petition with your signature and support Bady being granted parole. Please let Bady go home to his family.  A Second chance is desperately needed.

Techical parole violations are as simple  as not being able to keep a job because of parole restrictions, working with other convicted felons, curfews.

Bady needed additional mental health treatment from all the years of incarceration. While perhaps many returning citizens don’t struggle as much. Post incarceration PTSD and social anxiety left untreated creates a severe barrior for a successful path. 

One might say, well why didnt he get help, its not so easy when you are almost emotional amd mentally paralyzed. Returning from a world apart is a challenge. Please reach deep into your heart and help bring this man home. Thank you.
