Petition for Uvalde and Buffalo with my requesting comments.

We as a country seem to have a problem creating and signing any laws that may help with mass shootings. During Memorial Day weekend, I began to think about all of the uniformed men and women that were killed during a war so that we could live free. That is what Memorial Day stands for. I began to think about all the mass shootings we have on a constant basis now. I thought it would be appropriate as well as respectable to the families that have lost their loved ones for no apparent reason, to create some form of Memorial Day. Our citizens have been murdered due to the mass murder craze we are walking into now. We seem to talk about the latest mass murder as in Buffalo and Uvalde lately and then their stories seem to fade away as though their lives did not matter. When nothing changes, nothing changes. Many Americans continue to BEG Congress to pass laws to help at least try to cut back on some of this sick behavior. The begging has been going on for years now, but still no changes. Will mass murders stop? I sincerely doubt that, but hopefully, Congress will pass some common-sense laws to cut the ease of these murders and make them happen less frequently at the very least. Every child and adult have the right to live. This is not about taking anyone’s guns away, It’s about finding ways to do better as human beings. How about we create a Victims of Mass Murders Memorial Day?  I think they and their loved ones deserve it. It's the least we can do.
