Please Deny 'River Marsh' Site Approval as it is environmentally irresponsible and unsafe.

The Issue

Please take 30 seconds out of your day to to sign a petition to help prevent a developer from using the 40b loophole (can ignore local conservation regulations such as wetland setbacks) to build on land that has been determined to be unbuildable wetlands.  The 68 unit project is proposed to be built in an existing historic neighborhood on Water Street in Pembroke, MA along the North River.  The complex will likely be visible from boaters in the North River itself, Barque Hill homes in Norwell, and other homes along the river in Hanover.  The potential runoff from excavation and construction could have a significant impact on the wildlife in the area and could affect residents of Norwell, Hanover, Pembroke, Marshfield and Scituate.  The proposed $1M waste water treatment plant is planned to be situated in the middle of these wetlands.  Please help stop this!  The proposal can be viewed here: http://www.pembroke-ma.gov/sites/pembrokema/files/uploads/river_march_village_40b.pdf

Please consider donating $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, or more to help fight this: https://www.gofundme.com/stopRIVERMARSH40b
