Hi! I'm Logan and I go to Mason High School in Mason MI. As you may know, we do online school for 5 days a week, 7 hours a day. Me and many people I’ve talked to agree that this is way too long. Plus, the amount of work we have right now is way too much. I’ve had to work on school work from 2:40pm, till 12am. We have other things that we need to worry about. There is a pandemic that is killing hundreds of thousands of people. Our mental health is also going down. People are overwhelmed with all the work we have to do and have no motivation to do it. Me and many kids feel the same way. Every day is the same. Log on to the computer, stare at your screen for 7 hours, stress at the the work you have to do after the 7 hours and then sleep. This is repeated every day. We can’t handle this. People are killing themselves because they can’t handle it anymore. We need our school day shortened to at most 3 hours and we need less work. The school districts all around us have there day shortened and people I’ve talked too from them say it’s a lot better. Please make this happen. Our mental health is important.
