Muslims have been living in Newcastle Ontario for more than decades. Our growing Newcastle Muslim Community is in desperate need of a permanent worship place.
We Muslim perform five daily prayers in a masjid. A masjid not only provides facilities for spiritual advancement activities for adults and children but also serves as a community center for discussion of propagation of Peace(Islam). A masjid means more than a worship place for Muslims, it holds a significant role in the overall well-being of the Community itself. A Masjid is a cornerstone of every Muslim community.

The purpose of this petition is to create awareness for local politicians (MPP,MP, Councilor, and Mayor) and other communities in the neighborhood the urgent need of Newcastle Muslim Community .
