Release GunZ on Steam

Release GunZ on Steam
The Issue
GunZ: The Duel is a game that was released in 2004 by MAIET Entertainment. The IP was sold to Masangsoft in 2015 and MAIET was disolved shortly after. While South Korea and Brazil enjoy region locked and localized versions of the game, the international market does not. Many players have instead opted to play unofficial versions of the game illegally simply because there is not an official version of the game to play.
GunZ enjoyed a playerbase of around 40,000 players in 2007, with an average of 11,000 concurrent users during the day. The majority of those players continued to play the game until its eventual death, and many of them are still active in the GunZ community, waiting for the game to come back.
Steam is likely the best platform for GunZ to be released on. It has a very large reach on the international market and I'm sure that it would be very successful there. A lot of the former players would return as well as a wealth of new players that would generate a lot of interest in the game as a competitive third person shooter. There is also the potential for the game to make it into the e-sports arena, as there is a very high skill ceiling for the game.
Please consider signing this petition if you want to see GunZ come back.
