Masala Bowl Rickmansworth
Why this petition matters
The team at Masala Bowl Rickmansworth would really appreciate your support. We are a new business trying very hard to bring some exciting entertainment back to Rickmansworth High Street. We recently applied for a late night licence on weekends and unfortunately have had a few disputes from local businesses and residents. We can assure, we do not intend to disrupt the peace of the high street, but instead bring a space where local residence can enjoy socialising and have some fun while being within Rickmansworth. Please can you help us sign this petition to show the local authorities the need for a lovely space for families and friends to enjoy music, dance and have some fun until the same times as other local businesses.
To the Three Rivers District Council - Local Licensing Authority, this petition contends
that a refusal to grant the Application to vary the full Premises Licence made by Masala
Bowl Limited would be irrational. The reasons a refusal would be irrational are as
follows.
1. We, the local Rickmansworth community, have nowhere else to go in
Rickmansworth to meet each other, enjoy our cultured music and food.
2. Masala Bowl is a place where our community in Rickmansworth gets
together.
3. The Pennsylvanian with address at 115-117 High Street, Rickmansworth,
WD3 1AN has been granted a licence for the Provision of Late Night
Refreshment until 00:00AM HOURS Monday to Thursday and until
1:00AM HOURS Friday to Saturday. The licensing policy is, ergo, not
being applied fairly by the Council if Masala Bowl’s application for
variation is refused.
4. We need somewhere to go out in Rickmansworth which attracts a classy
and professional crowd.
