Marymount Manhattan College should provide and REQUIRE weekly covid testing starting as soon as residents move back into the dorms and activities/classes are on campus. Testing should be required for anyone and everyone who lives in college housing and attends courses or any other activities on campus. With different variants popping up and vaccinated people getting infected, this is so important. How are students supposed to know if they are around infected classmates if students are not required to get tested weekly? Some people do not show symptoms and genuinely do not know, others think it is only a cold and don’t know they truly have Covid. This is why it is important to test. Testing should be required, provided and available on campus and in dorms.
