Our groundbreaking footage uncovering the horrors of fish factory farming has sent ripples through the nation. However, Martha Stewart has been going about her business as usual -- Let’s make sure her FB Live doesn’t go swimmingly by leaving a quick comment in the feed!
When our undercover investigation into a Cooke Aquaculture salmon hatchery dropped, Cooke released a statement of apology and regret. Marquee Brands, owner of Martha Stewart Living, reached out to COK right away concerned with making things right. Martha Stewart, however, first chose to ignore the footage--refusing to comment on it when COK asked, and most recently tried to claim that it was a “set-up!”
Stewart, a self-proclaimed animal lover, seems to care more about profit than sentient salmon as she continues to ignore the fact that she is endorsing cruelty by partnering with True North. Apparently, the home-making icon doesn’t realize how much profit can be made with vegan protein! Recent news articles have noted that after 2019 proved to be the year of the vegan, plant-based eating is not a passing trend--it is here to stay!
Instead of making waves against cruelty, Martha Stewart is continuing to go about her business promoting her newest cookie recipe book. Today, she is live on Facebook at 4:15 EST to promote her latest endeavor during a Cookies and Cocktails event with Macy’s. Let’s show up for the fish suffering right now: Comment on Martha’s live feed, telling her to turn the tides for sea animals by cutting ties with cruelty and investing in vegan protein instead!
P.S. Consider sharing the link to this petition (COK.net/marthastewart) in the comments to show Martha Stewart’s fans the cruelty she supports!
