M&M’s

M&M's iconic characters have been around for centuries. These six multi-colored button-shaped chocolate characters have evolved countless times to satisfy the needs of the ever-changing global palate. It started with the iconic solid milk chocolate center and expanded to a wider variety of flavors such as peanut butter, almond, pretzel, crispy, dark chocolate, and caramel. With these additional flavors, the world was pleased; however, M&M’s did not cease to grow—and grow they did, eventually developing sentience and, with that, personalities that captivated the world, thrusting these tasty snacks further into our lives. We went from choosing M&M’s based on our favorite colors to emotionally connecting with Red’s confident yet arrogant demeanor or just wanting a friend as optimistic as Yellow. The point is that people resonate with the M&M’s personalities as much as they do the flavors, so to needlessly distort these fundamental characters for the sake of forced progression is criminal. Change them back. Make M&M’s sexy again.
