I just heard a few days ago that the cafe in Marks and Spencers in Harrow Town Centre will be closing very soon. I have to say I was quite upset to hear this, as I know that a lot of elderly and disabled people in the area go there and depend upon the women working in there, who are so generous and helpful towards them. I personally know a few of these people myself and know that it has caused them distress, as they don't feel that there is anywhere else in the town centre where they can go to receive the same sort of understanding and help. I'd like to start a petition asking M&S not to close it as so many are dependent upon it. I will post a link to the petition in the group for people to sign if they agree with me. I feel like there are so few places now where elderly and vulnerable people can go to feel safe in Harrow and I think it's important that it remain open.
