Founded in 2013 and having grown to 380,000 members, Love Cat League, the second largest cat lovers group in Taiwan, was disabled by Facebook on Oct 25th, 2021, following another two groups in the alliance also taken down by Facebook this year. We hereby start this petition to appeal Facebook's decision.

My name is Na Wei. I'm the president of the Cat Love League. Since 2013, Love Cat League has been a flagship platform for people in Taiwan to rescue or rehome stray dogs and cats. We also donate supplies to people who help rescue or rehome stray animals.

Recently, due to Facebook's new AI algorithm, many of the rehomers' posts have been misjudged as animal sale, and their accounts were disabled, too. As a result, one after another, Facebook took down three of the groups in our alliance. During the shutdown, lots of dogs and cats have lost their chance to be rescued or rehomed. It is a big loss to cats because on average, we help 30~50 cats rescued or rehomed per day and over 18,000 per year. 

Although our group members have reported to Facebook and requested a review for the past two weeks, no reply has been received yet. Therefore, we hope this petition can draw Facebook's attention and restore our group as soon as possible.
