The new WhatsApp stories update wasn't necessary because it has been part of too many social applications now. WhatsApp Messenger was a unique and basic social, one to one,  messaging app which was loved and is loved the way it is. The new update is already being hated by 75%-80% of the users and should be removed or improved in a better way immediately.
