Make Facebook Timeline an option for its members

The Facebook timeline is not "User Friendly", making it extremely difficult to locate information. Our personal and private information, including photographs are made public, by default.  Facebook will have the ability to track and monitor Facebook users for the purpose of targeting ads. We should have the right to decide what information we want to be made public as well as the option not to take this timeline.  Many of my friends are already hooked up to the new timeline and have voiced their extreme displeasure with it.   I personally hate trying to maneuver through their profile pages, trying to find their gaming posts.  Random strangers on the internet will have the ability to uncover plenty of personal, and possibly embarrassing information about you. I've had the opportunity to read a number of articles related to the upcoming mandatory Facebook Timeline and while many provided links to online petitions, I clicked on these links only to find that the majority of them to be non-existent. Thus, the reason for this one.  If you feel as strongly as I and the majority of Facebook members, that we  WANT the option whether to use the new Facebook Timeline or not, then please sign this petition, re-post and/or "SHARE" it on your Facebook wall, asking others to participate as well.
