Whatsapp: An excellent platform to connect with people across globe on fingertips. The biggest competitive advantage of this app over other messaging apps is its very simple and easier to operate which increases efficiency and effectiveness of communicating with speed. Currently, when we open whatsapp there are 3 tabs available comprising of CHATS, STATUS and CALL. With new features and updates over time connecting with people becomes more easy but also led to problem of numerous messages.

Key Problems:

• Chat tab is so much overburdened by the group chats that we are not able to see an individual chat which is most important.
• Groups are comparatively more active and mainly comprises of less important/spam messages and they often come above individual chats.
• Sometimes, in urgency of finding an individual chats we often landed into in group chats
• It’s quite confusing and annoying.
• Though chat pin feature is available but can be applied to 3 chats only.

One Solution:

Addition of Group tab: Add one more classification in your tab list with GROUP CHAT. This would be very helpful for everyone to see messages which are more relevant whether it's individual or group.

Dependence on whatsapp has definitely increased and will continue to increase with time and thus it’s necessary to add this feature so as to continue being smooth and convenient app over other messaging apps.

We would highly appreciate if whatsapp take appropriate action so as to improve efficiency and effectiveness which ultimately will be very helpful for us to connect with people.
