By now, we have all seen Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Fantastic movie indeed. However, the death scene of Merlin (Mark Strong) is perhaps the most beautifully epic death in all of cinema. Merlin pushes Eggsy off a land mine, and sacrifices himself while singing the most beautiful rendition of "Take me Home Country Roads" many of us have ever heard.

His booming Scottish accent gives that song a completely new sound that sends chills down the spines of countless fans of Cinema, action movies, and country music. 

We, are respectfully requesting that the Estate of John Denver allow the talented actor and singer Mark Strong record a cover version of this song for posterity. 

We can all relate to hearing the OG version so wonderfully done on the radio and instantly thinking of our hero Merlin selflessly sacrificing his life for his friends and to save the world. 

Please help make this song a reality. Perhaps even a duet of John Denvers classic purely American voice and Mark Strongs sultry Scottish accent (obviously cut and edited, if Hank Jr. and Hank III can do it with Hank Sr., then this would be a cake walk). Let's bring this beautiful version of the song to listeners across the world.
