This is arguably the smallest tank in the world .They are Pan-tropical spotted Dolphins, there are two of them residing in the Taiji Whale Museum (originally there were 3 of them). They were captured in Taiji. There are pictures of the captures on the walls of the Museum.

Ric O'Barry reports live via a Ustream Broadcast. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/19705205

He states, "They are inside this tiny little building for public display. Its a public disgrace that is what this is. We don't see the Dolphins yet, the water is quite cloudy. " He continues to state, "They are showing symptoms of C.D.D.S. [Captive Dolphin Depression Syndrome]. They stay in that corner and will lay with their head against the wall. Lolita does that in the Miami Seaquarium. We need the World Associations of Zoo and Aquarium to take action once and for all.

This is the smallest Dolphin tank in the world. "

Won't you please help us? Please sign the petition and ask the Taiji Whale Museum to move these dolphins to a larger location close by. This used to be an Otter Exhibit. This is not a place for Dolphins.

Letter to

and 2 others
President Elect, Georgia Aquarium Eric Gaglione
Shedd Aquarium Ken Ramirez -
Please take action and Move the Taiji Dolphins; Sad and Lonely to a bigger tank. Close this display.

They are inside this tiny little building for public display. Its a public disgrace that is what this is. This is arguably the smallest tank in the world .They are Pan-tropical spotted Dolphins, there are two of them residing at the Taiji Whale Museum (originally there were 3 of them). They were captured in Taiji. There are pictures of the captures on the walls of the Museum. There are signs on the wall that state these cetaceans do not do well in captivity. Are they this disposable?

This petition this is a formal request for W.A.Z.A to intervene to put them in a better location, a larger pool a couple of hundred yard away and outside this building as the bare minimal request.
It would be better if they released them but all we are asking for better living conditions.

We need the world Associations of Zoo and Aquarium to take action once and for all. We are calling on you to do the right thing immediately.

This is the smallest Dolphin tank in the world. " Close it!
