Right now in the United States, we are facing the largest inflation increase in our nation's history, causing food, energy, fuel, and basic needs to rise dramatically. Simultaneously, our state governments are holding onto billions of dollars, disbursed to them by your predecessor, meant to aid Americans during the covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, that the likes of which are virtually over and this money remains unspent by their legislatures.

To ensure this money isn't wasted or stolen, and to alleviate the inflation problem by consequence, I suggest that Marilynn Malerba, United States Treasurer, exercise the duties of her office, and demand remaining covid-19 monies be returned because they were above the need and scope of original appropriations. Then order this money be destroyed to affect deflationary pressure on the money supply at a rate of $50,000,000 US Dollars per month until the money is fully recovered and destroyed.

This money is a threat to economic stability and is being held well past the problem congress appropriated the money to fix in the first place, and is also a major contributing factor to our inflation problem, as I'm sure you are aware, being Our Treasurer. As the only institution authorized by The Constitution to commission the destruction of official United States currency, We hearby petition your office, to redress this grievance in a manner that supports, upholds, and protects that same Constitution.
