Hello we need to loosen our marijuana laws in CT and take in consideration the thousands of people that use, have been arrested for, and will use marijuana. Many studies show that marijuana is a lot safer than other intoxicants such as alcohol and is one of the safest drugs you can take (prescription and non-prescription). Why are we wasting our time and resources on this almost harmless plant if we could be spending time on crimes such as domestic violence and homicides? Why are we arresting OUR people? Our neighbors, our parents, our children and future generations. That’s why you should sign this petition so adults and people of mature age can be free and find their pursuit of happiness in their own house. Are they realy doing something thats so terrible? Who are we to say that someone can or can't put in their own bodies if they are not hurting themselves nor others by having a joint after a long days of work?
