As a citizen of Orange County, FL, we are aware of the future road plans to extend Ward Road to Lake Nona Boulevard. We also understand this extension is dependent of the existing owner developing the land around it. Citizens are being impacted on a daily basis:

1. Three Orange County Communities rely on one sole entrance and exit via Orange County residential road: Stonewyck Street. These communities have the following number of homes: Lake Preserve 311 Homes, Creekstone 184 Homes, Bishop Landing Approximately 180 Homes.
2. The same entrance on Stonewyck Street has an Elementary school that opened in 2022. This has and will continue to worsen conditions leaving and entering the communities.
3. Plans for an additional exit/entry through Ward Road to Lake Nona Blvd were always in the county plans. Families moved here counting on this extension to Lake Nona Blvd.

This petition supports building the extension to Lake Nona Boulevard from Ward Road as soon as possible.
