In September of this year Marbletown First Aid Unit (MFAU)  shifted to partially paid as well as retaining our part volunteer staff. We have been encouraged by the strong backing from our community.

Because of the decline in volunteers and the aging demographics in NY state, Ulster county and our town we have done the analytics and data crunching to  solve for the problem.  We are now asking the town of Marbletown to support the rescue squad.

We understand the "Urgency in the Emergency"; that it takes dollars to staff the skilled work of medical EMT response and ambulance transport. Our response rate since going partially paid has risen to 93%, which places us among the top tier performers in NYS.
