Our local postman Manuel Debey,  has served our neighbourhood with exceptional dedication, professionalism, and kindness. Over the years, he has become a familiar and trusted face within our community, providing a level of personal service that is increasingly rare and greatly appreciated. He knows the area, understands the needs of the residents, and takes the time to ensure that everyone receives their mail promptly and correctly.

For many residents in East Finchley area, the continuity of having the same postman is invaluable. Particularly for the elderly people, those living alone, families with young children, and vulnerable members of our community, having a consistent and familiar postman brings peace of mind and a sense of security. Our postman is not just a service provider; he is a part of our community fabric.

Now, there are plans to move him from his current route, which would be a significant loss for us all. His knowledge of the area and understanding of the unique needs of the residents cannot be easily replaced. The personal connections he has built over the years are deeply valued by all.

It's crucial that our voices are heard by the decision-makers at the Royal Mail. We urge them to reconsider the proposed changes and allow our postman to continue his work along his current route. Retaining him in East Finchley will ensure that our community continues to receive the same high standard of service that we have all come to appreciate and rely upon.
