Hello and thank you for taking the time to look and hopefully by the end side with us on our journey for change. The dress code of the Manteca Unified School District is to say the least, very outdated. It contains rules that don't apply to the times anymore, sports teams gear is no longer associated with gangs, it just isn't what it used to be. The standards set to women is also appalling, we are not allowed to show our shoulders. Also our body types don't always fit the rules. We are all different and unique and to have them set to one standard is not fair and restrictive to many. We need to get with the times and show progressive change. This is 2021 not 1991.
