MANIFESTO NG TAONG BAYAN PARA SAGIPIN ANG INANG BAYAN

The Ferdinand Marcos Jr government has taken the path of oppression; suppression of truth, justice, our basic rights, our freedom of expression;

His gov’t cultivates a culture of corruption, deception, coercion ; and colludes with enemies of the state;

His gov’t officials use existing laws to protect themselves from prosecution, to enrich themselves or to sow fear amongst our citizens;

We strongly believe that our democratic processes and the future of our country is in peril;

We, the people, proclaim it’s incompetence, greed, decadence, indolence and cruelty;

We have demanded that our rights be protected, our grievances redressed; that they put an end to this oppression and wanton profligacy through regular and open accounting for government expenditures and transparency in all transactions;

But they refuse to listen and instead meet our reasonable and just demands with arrogance and abuse;

When hopelessness and helplessness prevail over the shameless betrayal of our government officials, we have no recourse but to exercise our Sovereign Will;

 That We, the Filipino people, effective immediately, withdraw support for President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., for Betrayal of Public Trust ;

And We, recognize VP Inday Sara Zimmerman Duterte as the President of the Republic of the Philippines by way of succession , pursuant to Sec. 8, Article VII of the 1987 Philippine Constitution;
