As loyal customers of Wisani Burial Society, we've consistently paid our dues without fail. However, we've observed an unsettling trend in our monthly premiums. We are calling on Wisani to limit the amount they increase these premiums, and to not raise them above R240. Over the recent years, we have been subject to extraordinary hikes, some even crossing a significant threshold of an additional R20.00 monthly. This sudden and recurrent rate bulge burdens many of us, more so those in the low-income bracket. We believe that a premium increase should only occur after a period of five years, and even then, should it need to be adjusted, the increase should not exceed an estimated R10.00. This proposed structure will make for a more just and considerate way to manage the financial obligations of Wisani’s customers.
