We often find that those under 30 partake in activities that may be deemed risky by insurance companies, such as scuba diving, vehicle hire or jungle trekking. Unfortunately, many of these activities are not covered under standard policies, especially when traveling to countries with higher risks like Thailand.

This petition demands a change in how travel insurance is marketed and sold, making it more transparent and mandatory for travelers under the age of 30. We propose working collaboratively with airlines to require proof of comprehensive travel insurance as a prerequisite to buying a ticket to high-risk destinations. Such cooperation could drastically reduce the number of travelers unknowingly facing uncovered risks.

Furthermore, insurance policies for young travelers should be clear and comprehensive, explicitly stating coverage for hazardous activities without hidden loopholes. By implementing these changes, we can enhance the safety of young adventurers, allowing them to explore the world with peace of mind.
