Mandate the "No Hit To Inquire Act"

Mandate the "No Hit To Inquire Act"
The Issue
As an everyday, hardworking citizen, I find it personally unjust that my credit score is negatively impacted due to the routine procedure of hard credit inquiries. Like many everyday Americans, I live on a modest income and operate within my means. Despite my commitment to honoring my financial obligations, it feels like the deck is stacked against me, simply because of required credit checks by the companies with which I engage.
I, along with countless others, am judged based off hard inquiries, as a consumer, I haven't an issue with the practice of a hard credit inquiry, I have an issue with the fact points are being dropped due to one being completed; whereas, if a company chose to do business with me based off income, without a credit check being necessary, I would gladly partake in whatever business agreement I am looking to engage in. Clearly, those struggling to obtain lines of credit, usually have to do more hard credit inquiries, thus harming our credit scores before we even get a chance to make good on a financial agreement. the basis of this system penalizes those who are already struggling to maintain a positive financial footprint.
There seems to be no valid reason that our credit scores should suffer from such procedure, particularly given the fact that these checks are often required. Hard inquiries should not negatively affect an individual's credit score, as they do not truly reflect our fiscal reliability or commitment to repaying debts on time.
It is time for this unfounded practice to end. Let us advocate for a "No Hit To Inquire Act" to protect Americans from unnecessary and unfair damage to their credit scores. A reformation in the system is essential to ensure credit scores reflect the real financial capability and responsibility of an individual, not the frequency with which companies look into their credit. Stand with us, demand transparency and fairness from the three major credit bureaus – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – and all other credit reporting agencies. Help us protect the credit scores of honest, hardworking individuals from senseless deterioration.
