This intersection in McKenzie, TN is a personal concern for me and many others. It has been the site of numerous accidents and tragic fatalities. The danger it presents to our community is palpable every time we approach it, knowing it's only a matter of time before another accident occurs, or worse, another life is lost.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has the power to mitigate this risk by implementing either a four-way stop or traffic light at the intersection of HWY 22 and Old McKenzie Rd. 

Our community deserves safe roads. We urge TDOT to prioritize our safety over any financial or bureaucratic considerations that may have previously prevented this change from happening.
