Summary:
We had a productive meeting with the Director of Parks and Recreation regarding the 9-hole golf course and playground safety. While the Golf Course Improvement plan is the solution to our concerns, it is still in design phase and the timelines have yet to be determined.
Various short term solutions were discussed and we will have more actionable updates on those soon. Key action items include repairing the fence, improving park and tree maintenance, streamlining the incident reporting process, and investigating potential park improvements like shade structures. There’s also a focus on better signage warning of stray golf balls.
As it stands, no incidents have been reported to the golf course. This is where we need your help!
Should you experience an incident with a stray golf ball, you should report it directly to the golf course clubhouse (2600 Golf Course Drive) in person, or if you’re unable to go in you can share your report with the Supervisors listed below:
