As a former senior editor of my graduating class yearbook, I understand deeply how crucial it is to allow seniors to have a hands-on experience in creating their memories. Our high school years are a whimsical journey with countless memories that we hold dear. Therefore, ensuring that these memories are depicted objectively and genuinely in events like the Senior Slideshow is vital. In PMHS School, it is currently the teacher's task to fashion these senior events.

However, students are the custodians of their memories. They are the best authors of their high school journey. We firmly believe that if this responsibility is given to the seniors of the class of 2025, it would not only enrich the authenticity of the events but also provide an invaluable experience for them.

According to a research study published in the Journal of Memory and Language in 2020, individuals recall experiences more accurately when they document their own experiences than when others do. It’s a testament to why students curating their content is so essential.

Let's give the PMHS class of 2025 the reins to their nostalgic Senior events! We need your help to build a fair system where seniors design their Senior Slideshow and other end-of-the-year events.
