CDC.gov reports a hotel room tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19 after two PRE-symptomatic guests later tested positive AFTER returning home from vacation! 

Reader's Digest reports that 81% of hotel surfaces tested positive for fecal bacteria. Can you imagine cuddling a blanket up to your chin where a stranger's germs have left residue?

Bedding can harbor dust mites, allergens, and other toxins. It can cause or irritate respiratory problems and allergies, not to mention skin rashes and other infections involving body fluids.

Haven't we learned through Covid that communicable diseases are controllable? Yet a hundred people share the same hotel blanket? Please ensure safety by mandating that ALL bedding be laundered after each guest.

Hotels charge more during tourist season without providing additional service. At least clean it properly. Lodging can be the biggest travel expense, but also the most dangerous for public health.

Make offenses punishable by fines or loss of credibility. Please, we urge lodging facilities to prioritize health to stop the bedspread of germs!
