Mandate Competency Exams for Indian politicians

In India, millions of youth study years for govt. exams just to qualify for entry-level (lowest paid)government jobs. They are tested on subjects like logic, law, and ethics and aptitude, to prove their competence and capabilities. It strikes while a Peon or a Junior Clerk must prove their competence through a written exam, 

Where a person can become MP, MLA with lack of basic school certificate.

If a clerk needs an exam for a government job, then why not a politician?

The very individuals making our laws and managing our multi-crore budgets with lack of mandated standard of educational qualifications or competency or aptitude tests.

is it not fair to demand the same educational qualification standards of those who rule us??

The demand 

We call upon the Government of India and the Election Commission to implement a mandatory "National Legislative Competency Test" for all electoral candidates

Implementing a system where politicians are required to pass basic competency and aptitude exams would contribute significantly towards enhancing the quality of governance in the country. Such a measure would ensure that better decision-making processes that impact the lives of millions.

Moreover, standardized eligibility and qualifications would foster responsibility and accountability.

Thus, we ask the Government of India to consider the implementation of exams for upcoming politicians, so the youth of India can trust that their future is being shaped by educated leaders.
