I believe in the need for truly democratic, unbiased, and accessible media. With 92% of news media foreign owned, it is important to push for equal access for U.S. citizen owned news media.

Foreign national-controlled media could exploit their influence over US public opinion, possibly jeopardizing our elections with false voter information. 

Equal access to U.S. citizen-owned news media in our streaming, broadcast, and print media can curb potential voter suppression through information suppression. 

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) already has guidelines in place to prevent excessive foreign media ownership, and these regulations need to be enforced. 

Media ownership should be reflective of the diversity of U.S. citizenship, aligned with the best interests of U.S. citizens and promote responsible stewardship of U.S. resources, rather than those of foreign nationals.
