Our students' safety is paramount, and an immediate response can mean the difference between life and death. Providing first aid and CPR training to all teachers and staff within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) can guarantee a swift and educated response in emergencies, ensuring a safer school environment for our children.

We propose making first aid and CPR training mandatory in all LAUSD schools, provided at no cost to teachers and staff.
