Maldon skatepark repair and change.

The maldon skatepark was originally built around 2008 and has no changes being done to it since this time, it has been neglected by the council as everyday more and more rust is collected on the ramps. Many others have also complained about this problem as a petition on this site was started around 2 years ago:

Still to this day our community skatepark is in an unsafe and dangerous condition. The ramps are rusting and damaged, the half pipe and the box are dented and have visible damages to the equipment. This includes the scratched off paint and cracks in the ramps itself. Also the ramps do not flush with the floor making it dangerous ro ride up and down them as if a small wheel catches the lip between the floor and ramp a rider can have a bad fall. Another point, the floor is rough tarmac. Also the ground has very visible cracks and dips in, further making this park dangerous. 

Skateboarding builds community as we are a community. It's been 4-5 years, when will the council listen?
