Healthy Harold has become an Australian icon, with the Life Education Australia giraffe mascot teaching hundreds of thousands of Aussie school kids over the years about making good, healthy choices.

The program has had all its federal funding cut, with its current grant expiring on July 1st, and that's just not okay. If our kids aren't going to get their first glimpses at healthy living and drug education from a giraffe in a bus, then how and by who? I doubt Mr Turnbull's keen on a career change... then again, maybe I'm mistaken.

Many kids don't receive a proper drug and alcohol education until it's too late, and, with a rise in the usage of ice, can we afford to make a helpful giraffe become redundant?
