Members of Parliament should be able to meet and debate in a virtual environment as the Movement Control Order restricts travel and Social Distancing is required.

Virtual Parliament is meeting in Westminster London, known as the Mother of Parliaments. We can do the same.

The technology and infrastructure is available in Malaysia for this.

THEREFORE

We concerned citizens urge our Members of Parliament to collectively petition the government to request the Speaker to conduct Parliament on a virtual platform to debate urgent matters of state. This Virtual Parliament will enable our MPs to maintain Social Distancing and comply with the Movement Control Order (MCO). This Virtual Parliament should sit immediately the day after Parliament is opened by His Majesty in May.
