From the Empire State to the Equality State.

The status quo:

Even by a conservative count, a good population of New Yorkers are already open and supportive to the idea of legalizing same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage legislation bills have successfully passed through the New York State Assembly many times in the past but have failed to pass through the Senate. The governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, is an invaluable ally and advocate for same-sex marriage.

While the Senate have said "no" in the past, this time we are closer than ever to achieving our goal. 31 out of 62 Senators have pledged to vote YES. This means that we are only 1 and only 1 vote away from achieving a simple majority to get the Marriage Equality Act passed.

We are real. Love is real.

Sign this petition now before the Legislative session ends on Monday. This is one of our last efforts to tell our Senators that we demand marriage equality once and for all.
